by Abstract Truth

This song was written during the acceptance speech given by President Barack Obama in Chicago during his first presidential run. It is a reminder too us that voting can affect change and our vote counted. If we stay silent we have no effect on change.

Album Notes
The song "Victory" was a concept conceived as President elect Barack Obama was making his "Victory" speech in Chicago following the election. The words he spoke were far greater than the election itself. We found that his message could motivate people in this country to do great things when given the opportunity. People in this country wanted to go in a different direction from the previous (8) years and in record numbers, using their right to vote came out to make it happen. We hope that people listening to this song in years to come will remember that through your vote you can make a difference.
