Album Notes
Acie Cargill has been called one of America's top songwriters. Here are 12 blues compositions. He sings and plays guitar and bass. He is a former grammy nominee for traditional folk music. Tom Gurney was a national touring lead guitarist and here plays his Fender stratocaster. Paul Kaye is a blues master and here plays acoustic guitar, mandolin and some National Steel guitar. All three of these musicians have extensive bluegrass backgrounds and they try to give a bluegrass feelings to the blues. It probably is best classified as Americana.
