A Compilation of Simple Melodies (Remix)

by JRS' Socalypsoreggaeroc!

A rare chance to listen to the lead steel drum incorporating conventional instruments as authentic style background music. It's as close to conventional bands musical production as you will get.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The musical influences for this steel drum CD hails from Trinidad, Prince Albert Street, behind the market. Across the street from Teenagers steel band, where the Lord Shorty and Cory Iron used to hang out. Accross the street from the San Fernando General Hospital from Hatters Steel Band,. On the coffee by Juicy Antellian All Stars, Down the Road from there to Fronclaire Steel Orchestra, On the other side by Vistabella on the hill West Stars Steel Orchestra, in Mon Repos with Cavaliers and finally with Brooklynairs Steel Orchestra in Brooklyn, NY. That's a lot of pan in the blood man. This lead pan was built and tuned by Mikey Enoch and Ellie Mannette. Many thanks to both of them. And to Mikey Ellie also said good job. This is the first CD originally recorded on a four trach and transferred to CD. I sincerely hope you enjoy the skill and style of the steel drum performance.
