ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This incredible first release under the name Acquisotic proves that a very unique band can create new styles of music . This rather experimental Story Pop Rock style has taken years of musical experience and development to cultivate. Acquisotic was created by Bruce Gombrelli. He composes all the material, performs it, mixes and engineers it and finally, produces it. It's a very deep CD full of intensive musical structures combined with philosophical lyrics with some seriously creamy guitar work and powerful active moving melodies. Make sure you check out the new Acquisotic release called simply "Acquisotic II".

Some favorites on this CD are the very philosophical "That's How Dream go", the unusually timed "Edge Of Your World" and the awesomely cool award winning instrumental "Smooth Landing". The pop style "It's not learning" opens the CD. Other noteworthy songs are "Sadie Oh and Slide" and the suprisingly popular "Who Am I" which is a supporting track from the unreleased movie script "The Metaphysical Spectrum".

Have fun listening to them!

Here's the thoughts of a few fans and critics:

A seattle music critic "Acquisotic is the essence of this new genre of experimental progressive pop music. This is one of the most interesting and fun artists I've had a chance to listen to in years. The songs are complicated and deep with extreme attention to detail. Oh sure, there's a rough edge non mass produced edge to it in places but the content made me wonder how this guy could possibly have done this by himself. It just added to the shine and culture of this slyly produced gem. There's no shortage of beautiful guitar work and talent on this CD." Steve Grimes

"Acquisotic is incredible. Every song is like a painting in a tapestry of sound. I couldn't stop listening to this CD. Finally some creative quality music. I can't wait for the next CD to come out!" A german fan.

"What a jazz. The melodies from Acquisotic are all over the place, it pulls me on from beginning to the end of every song but yet in these melodies I still can't stop hearing the songs in my head over and over again verse by verse. I'm hooked." Rick Bradley

"The band, or I should say this guy? He really surprised me. I loved the guitar work. It also seems like everytime I hear a song I keep finding more things in it, he really put a lot of musical ideas into the songs he created. The voice is really unique too, like wow, it's sort of a modern Jon Anderson with some Beatles or something." Tim Long

The songs created by Acquistoic are typically, but not always, in a story form. Song are created in movements there can be multiple bridges and verses that have a variety of different structures.

If you haven't heard the band yet, connect to Acquisotic and get a new experience in music that touches the inner self and leaves the old school repetitious dull songs behind.
