Album Notes
The first song that I performed in China was Li Xiang Lan (李香兰), the opening track on this album, and there began a love affair with the music of this great civilization. The hauntingly beautiful freedom of the melodies and the elegant phrasing of Chinese music connected with my goals as a musician and inspired this selection of music.

Recorded in Hong Kong, and mixed and mastered in Perth, Western Australia, the album brings together old friends and new from six countries on four continents, performing music both familiar and unknown with the hope that within this music you will hear whispers not only of our cultural diversity, but also our similarity.

Featuring Adrian Kelly (trumpet), Dodong Fuego Jr. (guitar), Bob Mocarsky (keys), Scott Dodd (basses), Anthony Fernandes (drums) with special guests Carole Chan (vocals), Andrew Tuason (piano), and Nicole Russo (vocal).
