ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Nina del Sol is the sixth studio album release from Adrian Raso. A respected Canadian guitarist who has been playing for over 25 years. The album was inspired by a trip taken by Adrian back to Italy in 2008. This integrated itself into the album as it resonates with the essence of the country. From the infectious rhythm of tracks such as “Isla del Ritmo” featuring Sheila E., to the more sensual pieces such as “Terrazza Strombolo”. The album takes you on a tour of a culture where artists are truly respected, family is an integral part of everyday life, and the landscape is alive. The beauty and culture can be felt in every note making you want to move with every beat. The rhythmic undercurrent can be felt throughout the album with meticulously composed melodies bearing testament to the kind of brilliant artist Adrian is. Adrian truly makes the guitar sing in this wonderfully composed instrumental compilation.
