"Two Seconds..." is the real deal!
Moments into Two Seconds to Midnight, you know you're listening to some amazing music as played by some of the heaviest hitters in jazz music today! For old school and new school jazzers alike, this CD makes a great gift!

Tim Whittemore

simply masterful!
This disc is fantastic! These beautiful arrangements do a masterful job of keeping the colors fresh and interesting - and the musicianship is stellar. Tim Leahey's performance on Skylark - WOW! This track has immediately become one of my top ten favorite tracks - period. I can't say enough about how wonderful this CD is. From the arranging to the musicians - simply masterful! May Alan's talents continue to find voice for a long long long time to come!

ben tolly

nicely arranged, good performance
It is so difficult to do something unique or exciting in Jazz Big Band CD's...The arrangements are top notch and the performers( soloists) can burn. Effert worthy...

Nice CD
This is a great CD - I would recommend it to anyone who likes modern big band music. Alan Baylock's arrangements are nicely scored. Two Seconds to Midnight is the real highlight of this disc - the trombonist is amazing.
