ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Welcome to the Backyard Guitar!!
The new disc from award winning guitar maestro Alan Goodman picks up where 'under the bed' left us, only this time it's a bouncy stroll through the daytime hours. The flamenco roots are still here, but there is also a heavy dose of pure Americana on this disc, with lilting versions of 'oh susannah' and 'old smokey' as well as haunting renditions of 'erie canal' and 'the ants go marching.' As always the guitar is at the forefront, and this time out there are some suprises as far as other instruments. The songs are upbeat, the mood is festive and the playing is stellar. Another great album from the 'Family Guitar' man, and a another must-have for those who believe in Guitar Music for All Ages.

Karina

awesome music for the family!
I bought this CD because I have under the bed, so I knew I would like it. But what I did not realize was how uplifting this music would be. I put it on and I smile and the worries of my day melt away. Way to go alan! you've done it again - but this time on a whole new level.

wow ! this cd rocks!
My friend gave this to our family and we listen to it everywhere! We listen in the car at dinner at bed time and the whole family dances and moves along. Thank you alan for yet another cd that our family can enjoy together!
