Album Notes
Burger King is the third release from Alert The Sky, but the first with new vocalist Devin Leach. Leach\'s more traditional brand of hardcore vocals juxtaposed to the intense heaviness of the guitars and drums is a great blending of styles not found in most typical hardcore/metalcore bands these days. Don\'t let the slightly comical song titles fool you, the message on this album is no laughing matter. Ambition, integrity, substance abuse, and self-preservation are just a few of the subjects Leach expresses throughout the album. Meanwhile the instrumentation is keeping it interesting, mixing in old school fast tempo drum beats with at times sludgy brutal breakdowns.
