"Apreciated in the entire world, the Brazilian music owes its prestige not only to its creators, but to the musicians that love Brazilian music and lend in their talent. This is the case of Alfredo Muro, a fabulous Peruvian instrumentalist that, in this CD, offers us a refined brazilianism, with no accent. After listening to "Alma Brasileira" (Brazilian Soul), we are left with a desire to give him a standing ovation, to hug him, and to tell him in his hear: "Thank you very much".
"Carlos Alberto Afonso"

Carlos Alberto Afonso is the author of "ABC of Vinicius de Moraes", professor of Brazilian literature and Executive Director of "Espaco Cultural Toca do Vinicius" a cultural center dedicated entirely to the preservation and spreading of the typical musical culture of the city of Rio de Janeiro: "choro", "Samba" and "Bossa Nova".

Beautiful CD of hypnotic artistry
This CD is a jewel of beautiful melodies played by an artist with such depth and facility. Mr. Muro is able to "sing" through his masterful guitar playing, and the cuts on this CD are one more beautiful than the next.

Great music- amazing collection !!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the most passionate expressions of the brazilian soul in the hands of this "virtuoso" musician: Muro. That's what this CD means to me.
