The ALIEN EP was conceived in the minds of DJ Que Eleven and the producer, DieselBeats. This first started when DieselBeats heard Dubstep music while attending a party 3 years ago. While the music was playing in his ears, he heard prominent rap and hip hop artists rhyming on top of the instrumentals in his head. He knew that somewhere in the near future this is the direction that music was heading. Two years later, he met DJ Que Eleven and some time meeting, DieselBeats introduced him to the sounds of Dubstep music. DJ Que Eleven's face melted as he listen to the bass wobbles and crazy synths that filled the air. This is how the Alien EP was born.
DieselBeats started formulating beats that were a hybrid of rap and dubstep genres. The perfect blend of rap patterns with some dubstep sounds and characteristics give ALIEN it's feel and flow. All songs on this project are not hybrids. Bring Me To Life and Rumors Have It are more dubstep in sound while Gettin' Doe and Bout Mine are purely rap and drill songs.
DJ Que Eleven played the role of A&R for ALIEN. He found hot indie artists to fill the instrumentals with lyrics that bring the sound together for an electrifying listening experience. Chicago artists featured on this EP are: Trell Love, Tony Cartel, President Tel, T.R.O.Y. the Autobot, Pinero Loud, Sycosis, Blaine Belladonna, A$A, Pavy, and Legend. There is also an appearance by Philly's own heavy hitter, Fiq.
