Album Notes
Italy seems to be getting a very fertile soil for honest and true heavy-metal youngsters. Apart from Pure Steel-bands like STEEL RAISER and ICY STEEL, ALLTHENIKO is one of those who give new blood to true heavy metal. Since the band was formed in 2002, they have recorded four demos and three studio-albums (“We Will Fight”, “Devasterpiece”
and “Millennium Re-Burn”). They also featured on the 2008 Earache-sampler “Heavy Metal Killers”. For their fourth album, they have decided to cooperate with Pure Steel Records and we are happy to welcome this likeable band.

“Back to 2066” is an album which will please every true metal-fan. It contains nine heavy/speed-songs which are full of passion and pure high-energy, screaming guitars, a somewhat falsetto-voice and a very creative songwriting. ALLTHENIKO know how to combine perfectly simple and effective riffs and sometimes pounding rhythms with aggressive vocals that remind you of Kai Hansen. The production is warm and typical of old-school, which is another bonus for fans of traditional metal.

Metal heart, what more could you want?
