Amber Digby returns to the Heart of Texas Recording Studio and belts out her finest album to date. Amber's incredible vocals are wrapped around some of the best musicians in Texas. In "Another Way To Live" Amber proves why she is becoming one of the most recognized Traditional female vocalsits in Country Music.
"Another Way To Live" features three songs that Amber wrote including "Soul Survivor" "Lie To Him" and "After It Breaks." This is the first time that Amber has recorded some of her self penned songs.
Amber also adds some classic numbers including the Kitty Wells single "There Must Be Another Way To Live" written by Mel Tillis and the Willie Nelson penned "One Step Beyond". She also borrows the vocal talents of her husband Randy Lindley on the classics "Just Someone I Used To Know" and "Please Be My Love." Amber brings new life to the Ronnie Milsap hit "Silent Night (After The Fight)"-a song that she performed on her debut on the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on December 19, 2009. Amber also turns to one of her musical heros Johnny Bush and adds "The Sound of A Heartache" to the song line up.
The musicians that are featured on "Another Way To Live" include Randy Lindley on Guitars, Dicky Overbey on Pedal Steel Guitar, Justin Trevino on Tic Tac Guitar, Jake Hooker on Upright Bass, Reggie Rueffer on Fiddles, T. Jarrod Bonta on Piano, and Tom Lewis on Drums.
"Amber has truly amazed me," Heart of Texas Records President Tracy Pitcox said. "She has truly grown into the role of Traditional Country Music finest young female vocalist. She is so devoted to her music and "Another Way To Live" is just another step towards the stardom that is destined for Amber Digby."
