Album Notes
"Forms & Shadows" first of ambientportals most foreboding and expansive works, with its vast surrealist soundscapes, clouds of shifting metallic overtones, indefinable mutations and sinuous threads of melting and haunting drones. All ten songs dealing with ritual and sacred spaces that one can dwell in yet always looking over your shoulder just incase someone or something is there with you. Yet somehow within this isolated landscape of unfamiliar and haunting sounds, there shines the intense and melancholy sort of beauty that permeates ambientportals singular sonic universe. A soundtrack for ones nightmares and dark foreboding places within and outside of ones consciousness.

Forms and Shadows
The music was chilling. As well as deep and dark. I could almost see and hear the movement of the clouds as well as getting a sense of someone or something being sacrificed into the darkness of the night. My favorite parts of this CD was the unexpected sounds that suddenly came out of no where. The artist did an amazing job of using this to his advantage. The unexpected sounds made everything come together. Simply wonderful.
