ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Song Descriptions
01 Half Loving Me - Have you ever been HALF LOVED? At some time or another - probably so. Well this story can be song to a woman however it can also be song by a woman to her man. Cause Half Lovin Me - won't get it.
02 4 Way Love Affair - There are One way love affairs, Two way love affairs, and three way love affairs, but wait one minute cause the real players are throwing down with 4 Way Love Affairs. Now that surely is not going to work - (unless you are the player)
03 Never Been Hurt - Have you ever been hurt? This song tells the story of hurt and pain which was delivered without a reason. Well maybe he did deserve it, but why did she have to take everything - even the dog?
04 Man In The Drawer - The first single dropped from this CD. The story about a man catching his woman cheating. However she was not cheating with the man at the store - she was cheating with the man in the drawer.
05 Stepping With You - Steppers get ready to do your thang. This song not only has a great stepping groove, just as the others it has a great storyline. So put on your stepping shoes and go to work.
06 Shoes Off First - Now here's a song about taking your time and making love. Need I say more?
07 Tell Me What I've Got To Do - Yeah I want to know. You use to do whatever but now you just don't want to do anything. So tell me what I've got to do to get my baby back.
08 Back In The Day Cafe - Talk about the good old times. The cafe days. The days when dressing to impress really meant something. Think Back - Do you remember?
09 I Wanna Be Loved Forever - Can you say Duet? Something that you just don't get too soon. This is a love song about wanting to be loved forever. Featuring Miz Goldie.
10 Shake What You Got - Yep shake it baby - shake what you got. This song turns the ladies into dancing machines - and I mean well oiled machines.

Take a listen and enjoy the SENIOR Soul CD from Andre' Lee on Coday Records.

"Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory"
Love the voice always have and there are some really good songs on here BUT how good would this album have sounded with a REAL drummer instead of the cheap imitation synth sounds, what is it about southern soul and the imitation drum sounds, please please get a real drummer next time. Expensive I know but it will be well worth it, as for this album I'll put it on hold and keep on coming back for a listen. What a shame.
