ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Chill is not an elaborate studio creation. It’s blues.

We recorded the whole album in two days, laying down seven originals and five covers. Most of the songs were done on the first or second take. We covered Johnny “Guitar” Watson, Jimmy Rogers, Junior Wells, Fats Domino, and T-Bone Walker – a wide mix of blues styles. The recording session for Chill was at Strobe Studios in Chicago. We recorded straight to tape, the way blues should be recorded.
