ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
INTRODUCTION

This massive Easter cantata was written for the glory of God. In three months, the Lord inspired me to write the words and music to this entire musical which consists of seven stanzas. Each stanza has its own unique sound, beat, and overall mood. It is the story of man, God’s love, and His salvation. I am humbled and honored to be used as a vessel for His glory!

REVIEWS OF THE WORK

Not since Handel’s cantata …
Roll over Handel …
Perhaps the most significant classical composition of the century …
Incredible … absolutely incredible …
The message of salvation
We WILL hear this song in heaven forever
Truly inspired!

INTROCUCTIONS AND THE WORDS TO ALL THE SONGS

INTRODUCTION TO THE TWO SONGS, "REVELATION" AND "THE LION OF JUDAH"
In Revelation, the bible paints a very gloomy picture of man’s future without Christ. The persisting question is: “Who is worthy to open the book?” And John says: “And I began to weep greatly, because no one was worthy to open the book.” Then one of the elders proclaims to him, “Stop weeping, behold, the Lion from the tribe of Judah, has overcome …”

WORDS TO THE SONG "REVELATION"

And I saw in the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the back side sealed with seven seals
(Worthy is the Lamb)2 Music only
And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice
Who’s worthy to open the book?

WORDS TO THE SONG "THE LION OF JUDAH"

And no one in heaven was worthy
And no one on earth was found holy

(No, no one in heaven was worthy
And no one on earth was found holy)2

And angels in heaven cried Holy
And prophets on earth sought His glory

But no one was worthy to please I AM

+++

And cursed was the earth, and its hollow
Brought for man thorns, thistles, and sorrow

Oh, cursed was the earth, and its hollow
Brought for man thorns, thistles, and sorrow
Yes, cursed was the earth, and its hollow
Brought for man thorns, thistles, and sorrow

And woman in great pain would cry
As she brought forth her children to die

And she waited and waited for her seed to bless the damned

+++

Only the Lion of Judah
Was found so worthy and holy

Would He choose to take the blame?
For the wicked and the lame

+++

As man was falling
God promised him planning
To send His son to bleed and die

For doomed unworthy
Irrational mercy
Why Holy God love man, oh why?

+++

And in the dry desert they wandered
For years and they grumbled and pondered

Yes, in the dry desert they wandered
For years and they grumbled and pondered

Oh, in the dry desert they wandered
For years and they grumbled and pondered

And nailed a brass serpent up high
On which they fixed their weary ill eye

(Yes, they raised a serpent up high
On which they fixed their weary ill eye)2

For death just passed over and flew by
As they fixed their eye to the sky

Just as death passed over and flew by
When it saw each blood soaked door-tie

So, death just passed over and flew by
As they fixed their eye to the sky
They healed from that deadly bite, yet lived to die

+++

Only the Lion of Judah
Could grant eternal salvation

Would He choose to die in shame?
For the wicked and the lame

+++

As condemnation
To all generations
Was brought by one who disobeyed

Lasting salvation
And grace to all nations
Would be brought by one who obeyed

Lasting salvation
And grace to all nations
Would be brought by one whom to death has obeyed

+++

Years (upon years)3
They worked their salvation through laws that brought tears

Lambs (upon lambs)3
They burned upon alters to please The I AM
White washed, but their hearts were dark, sinful, and damned

Years (upon years)3
They worked their salvation through laws that brought tears

Lambs (upon lambs)3
They burned upon alters to please The I AM
White washed, but their hearts were dark, sinful, and damned

+++

Only the Lion of Judah

Would He choose to take the blame?
For the wicked and the lame

+++

As man was falling

To send His son to bleed and die

For doomed unworthy

Finale:

For God so loved the world that he would give His only son
So all who may believe in Him would live with Him as one

Although He was oppressed, afflicted, and despised by men
He was God, Holiness; the Blameless Lamb, free of all sin

INTRODUCTION TO THE SONG "THE LAST SUPPER"

The last supper, a time of examination and questioning … even today, we ourselves continue to ponder these questions … Is it I who will betray you Lord and disobey?

WORDS TO THE SONG "THE LAST SUPPER"

Jesus.

Drink of my blood that I shed for you
Eat of my body broken in-two

(For your atonement this I must do)2

Drink of my blood that I shed for you
For soon we’ll surely drink it anew

(New covenant now I make with you)2
This in remembrance of me do
Love one another as I love you

The chant.

Is it I who will betray
You Lord and disobey

Is it I who’ll castaway
The truth, the life, the way

No, I’ll never you betray
Your sheep I’ll feed each day

Even if all fall away
For your sake Lord I’ll stay

You are the Messiah, Lord
I’m the rock of one accord

Rise, oh king, and gain command
Take control and make a stand

Lord you know my love for thee
Far exceeds all fish at sea

I will not deny you Lord
For you I’d die with the sword

INTRODUCTION TO THE SONG "THE PASSION AND VICTORY OF CHRIST"

As they cried “Crucify … crucify,” Jesus was alone. Before Him was the task of washing the sins of the entire world since the creation of man and to the end of time. Separated from His father, the roster crows! Jesus cries to his father to pass this cup from him. Satan thinks he won and sings, boasts, and with his demons dance! But, the true victory was made possible when Jesus claims His everlasting throne.

WORDS TO THE SONG "THE PASSION AND VICTORY OF CHRIST"

Jesus.

My father, who reigns from heaven, oh Holy is your name
Your kingdom come, your will be done, here as heavens proclaim

Ya Abba, who reigns from heaven, please pass this cup from me
But to Your will, I will bow still as I’m nailed to a tree

Ya Abba, who reigns from heaven, please don’t depart from me
And forgive all who shed my blood,
Yes, forgive all who shed my blood,
Oh, forgive all who shed my blood, so I may set them free

The Angel.

(Worthy is the Lamb)2

(Worthy is the Lamb)3

Satan.

God … why … die … why … why … why
Man … cursed … man … awful … dirty … man
Bow … bow … bow … now … bow … now

You’re alone
Dry as stone
Flesh all torn
If you’re Life
Live, don’t die
Claim your throne

Speak the word
Claim your throne
Why atone?
You could make
Sons from stone
Claim your throne

If you’re God
Leave the tree
Call your angels
Save your soul
Show us now
And we’ll bow

Satan.

I am the son of the morning
I will weaken the nations

I will ascend into the heaven
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds
I will be like the Most High

Jesus.

I am the Alpha and Omega

The Lamb, The slain
Who lives to reign

And I hold the key
To eternity

I AM

The Angels.

(Holy)4

(Worthy)3 is the lamb

INTRODUCTION TO THE SONG "THE THREE MARIES"

First Easter ... the three Maries are unaware that Jesus had risen. Heavy hearted they walk towards the tomb carrying spices to anoint the body of their precious Jesus. All their hopes are crushed. All the prophecies they knew about Jesus are now in question. All the promises, the gifts that Jesus had received as a child, the frankincense the myrrh and the gold … and what each meant, might as well be buried with their precious Lord. Laden, they walk in the garden ... and Jesus appears to them ...

((The Zaghratta sound that you will hear when they realize that Jesus is alive, is the sound females in the Middle East produce at the top of their lungs when a happy announcement is made ... a wedding, someone passes an incredible exam someone returns from the hospital after being healed, etc))

WORDS TO THE SONG "THE THREE MARIES"

…………. ((Mary Magdalene))
(Oh, oh, oh, oh) 2
How could God lie with the dead?
It’s I that should die instead

Oh, oh, oh, oh
Who will roll away the stone?
So we may with love adorn
Our Lord our God our own
…………… ((Mother))
Oh, how could they kill love?
My son and gentle dove
Whose home is high above?

………….. ((All three Maries))
With a kiss He was betrayed, by all forsaken

+++

………….. ((Short music))

…………. ((Mary Magdalene))
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Where have you laid our dear Lord?
…………… ((Mother))
Frankincense, and myrrh, and gold
…………. ((Mary Magdalene))
And prophecies foretold
…………… ((Mother))
Of God in human mold
…………. ((Mary Magdalene))
Who would be cheaply sold?

…………. ((Mary Magdalene))
Oh, oh, oh, oh
With my hair I washed his feet
For He brought me from defeat

………….. ((All three Maries))
Yet, His grave lies with the wicked and forsaken …He was afflicted, despised for no sin,
but was made sin for all

+++
………….... ((Short music))
…...………. ((Chorus Music only))
………….... ((Short music))
………….... ((Long music))

+++

……….. ((Jesus))
Mary, Mary I AM He ((Zaghratta after second Mary)) … (He’s risen)4

…………. ((Mary Magdalene))
Oh, oh my Lord I see
Oh, oh my Roboni

……….. ((Jesus))
Mommy, Mary please don’t cry …(Yes, Lord)4
You know I came to die … (I know)4

To break the curse for man… (I know)4
And in the gap to stand… (I know)4

I died now my victory endures above sin … Your victory endures above sin and Lord I
am forever yours
Yes, now, peace can be between my Father and men … My eyes are open, my heart
will forever rejoice in you Lord

Chorus: Don’t seek Life among the dead … Only you Jesus is worthy and holy
forever
I have crushed the serpent’s head … You’re my redeemer, you’re worthy
And holy forever

I died dowry for my bride … Your blood’s my dowry; I’m your own love
now and forever
Now, she may reign by my side … I’m change, I’m healed, I’m protected,
you’ll keep me forever

And will be my cherished queen … My eyes are open, my heart will
forever rejoice in you Lord

+++

I’ll bear the scars of all man’s done to me … Mercy my Lord, I’m so sinful and folly
For only through my stripes comes victory … Lord my redeemer, you’re worthy and holy

I’ll bear these scars throughout eternity … Why do you love me, I’m worthless and
lowly?
My open wounds will heal humanity … Great is your mercy, you’re worthy and holy

Oh, Death where’s your mighty thorn? … The thorn is broken and all sin forgiven
Oh, Grave let your glory mourn … You’ve been defeated for Jesus has risen

You no longer can cease man … The curse is broken forever and ever
For I live they all now can … Yes, now we can rejoice and live forever

And will reign as kings and queens … … My eyes are open, my heart will
forever rejoice in you Lord

+++

Chorus: Don’t seek Life among the dead ….Only you Jesus is worthy and holy

(And will be my cherished queen … My eyes are open, my heart will
forever rejoice in you Lord)3

+++

Go and make blind eyes to see
Heal the lame, set captives free

I’ll be with you till the end
Through the storm, I’ll call you friend

Love and love eternally
Do this, as if unto Me

Love and love eternally
Do this in remembrance of me

+++

Chorus: Don’t seek Life among the dead
I have crushed the serpent’s head

I died dowry for my bride
Now, she may reign by my side

And will be my cherished queen… My eyes are open, my heart
will forever rejoice in you Lord
(Yes, she’ll be my cherished queen … My eyes are open, my heart
will forever rejoice in you Lord)2

INTRODUCTION TO THE SONG "THE ASCENSION"

Three years have gone by since the apostles had met Jesus. They heard him teaching … they saw him performing miracles, healing the blind, raising the dead, walking on water. They also saw him arrested, brutally beaten beyond recognition, mutilated, and shamefully crucified naked. They saw him agonizing to die. AND they saw him rising from the dead. They touched his hands and spoke with him … he is alive … really … He is God!!!
Now they stand at the Mountain of Olives thinking about all these things and remembering his words … and Jesus is telling them that he will have to go … to prepare a place for them … where they will reign with him forever …
And he disappears on the clouds … then the angel appears to say: “He shall return …”

(It is a “goodbye” scene … very sweet … and very emotional. It starts with the apostles reminiscing, then the eruption sound of the ascension. Finally, at the end the message of the angel: “He shall return …”)

WORDS TO THE SONG "THE ASCENSION"

………. ((Solo))
He shall return
Have no concern

……… ((Chorus))
He shall return
Have no concern

………. ((Solo))
And you’re not alone
……… ((Chorus))
For He sends His own

………. ((Solo))
Spirit of fire
……… ((Chorus))
Water and fire

………. ((Solo))
Who shall dwell in you
……… ((Chorus))
With awe you never knew

………. ((Solo))
Yes, He’ll dwell in you
……… ((Chorus))
With awe you never knew

………. ((Solo))
Till the King returns
With a sword that burns

……… ((Chorus))
To place a gold crown
And cleansed with blood a gown
((Repeat, music only))

……… ((Both Solo and Chorus))
On each to claim
And bear His name
((Repeat, music only))

And take them home
Where they’ll reign forever with the Lamb … I AM

+++

And God will wipe their strife
And they shall drink the stream of life

And there shall be no night
Nor ever more need for sunlight

For the Lord God gives them light
And they shall surely live forever more

Oh, Yes, in His brightest light
In love and peace they’ll reign forever more

And they shall see His face
And in His arms find lasting place

INTRODUCTION TO THE SONG "THE LORD'S PRAYER"

When the apostles asked Jesus how to pray, he gave them the Lord’s Prayer. And, we know that the angels in heaven pray “Worthy is the Lamb, holy is the Lamb” twenty-four-seven.
This stanza, the Finale to the entire cantata joins our prayers on earth with those prayed in heaven. It begins with the Lord’s Prayer, then it goes into the angels’ prayer, and finally, we on earth and the angels in heaven are singing together. We are singing: “Yours is the kingdom,” they sing “Holy is the Lamb.” We sing: “The power and glory,” they answer “Worthy is the Lamb.”

This is a praise song!!!

(The verse: Don’t allow me to be tempted lest that I may hurt and fall, is reiteration of the prayer of Jabaz. The verse: “Always keep me for your glory deep inside your righteous wall,” is reiteration of Zachariah 2 : 5 )

WORDS TO THE SONG "THE LORD'S PRAYER"

My father, who reigns from heaven, oh Holy is your name
Your kingdom come, your will be done, here as heavens proclaim

My father, who reigns from heaven, tend to my daily needs
And always shine your face on me, and see that I succeed

My father, who reigns from heaven, forgive my thoughts and deeds
And give me strength so I may love
Yes, give me strength so I may love
Yes, give me strength so I may love all who make my heart bleed

Don’t allow me to be tempted lest that I may hurt and fall
But protect me from the evil one who wants to steal it all
Always keep me for your glory deep inside your righteous wall

Chorus: For yours is the kingdom, the power, and glory forever and ever – amen

(Worthy is the Lamb) Repeated with chorus several times
(Holy is the Lamb) Repeated with chorus several times

Jesus (7)

For yours is the kingdom, the power, and glory forever and ever – amen

(Worthy is the Lamb) Repeated with chorus several times
(Holy is the Lamb) Repeated with chorus several times

I pray all in Jesus’ name and by His blood I stalk my claim

WORDS TO THE SONG "THE GREAT COMMISSION" ((THIS SONG IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS CD))

………….. ((When played alone: He shall return. Music only))

I’ll go make blind eyes to see
Heal the lame, set captives free

You’ll be with me till the end

I’ll show love eternally
I’ll love as if unto thee

I will love eternally
I’ll love in remembrance of thee

++++
