Lil' Different

by Angle

Lil' Different has always been inside Angle and draws on the full spectrum of influences absorbed by a Midwest emcee. Finally, producer Tremayne makes it possible for this amped, party vibe that leaves the listener rinding with the real. Killing it!

Album Notes
Angle is a Midwest emcee with a chip on his shoulder. After more than a decade of dishing out quality product in the form of recorded projects and live shows, his progression in sound cuts through a surprisingly saturated Des Moines/Iowa hip hop market.

With influences coming from both coasts and everywhere in between, Angle’s signature style is all his own and instantaneously identifiable on every track. This sound, and the capability to switch flows and deliveries multiple times in each track, is what separates him from the rest of the herd. His music consistently packs soul, in the sense that the listener feels something without effort. Angle recognizes that underground hip hop artists too often attempt to make music into too much of a cerebral exercise that leaves you feeling nothing, but bored. He boasts a “full plastic jacket” of prior releases under One Leg Up Productions that reach back to 2001.

After a brief time on the Hawaii hip hop scene, Angle is back to reclaim his spot as a recognizable hip hop figure in the Midwest. Joining forces with producers Tremayne (Des Moines/Straight Vodka Ent.), he has set himself up to do just that with the release of Lil’ Different.
