Album Notes
Apple Pie mixes the qualities of 2 of the most important American Progressive rock bands such as Dream Theater and Spock's Beard. As if the gamble wasn't big enough, this group comes from... Russia !!! Vartan Mikhitarian seems to be almost as gifted as the multi-talented Neal Morse: a very good voice (Excellent English accent indeed!), incredible skills with almost all instruments (guitars especially) that happen to be in his hands, a great stylistic range and an imaginative way of composition. And his colleagues are quite in the same level. Here is an incredible album, polished with a sound and production that a good American band would be proud of.
