ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Most of the members of this band are also/ have also been members of other well-known bands. Jimmy Herring (currently with Widespread Panic, formerly with Phil&Friends, The Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, Jazz Is Dead), Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers Band), Kofi Burbridge (Derek Trucks Band), Sean O'Rourke (Sugarland, Howard Tate, Speech, Mother's Finest). During the HORDE years, this band was a favorite among it's peers (such as Phish, Widespread Panic, The Spin Doctors, Gov't Mule and others). They helped usher in what became know as the jamband era, touring relentlessly, playing clubs, festivals, and even arenas. Their virtuosity once caused Widespread Panic drummer Todd Nance to quip "they're the NBA All-Stars of music". But theis virtuosity was delivered with a ton of soul and a strong sense of humor.
