Album Notes
Inspiring and very fresh instrumental acoustic arrangements of Armenian folk music & pieces from Komitas, Kh. Avetisyan, with duduk/shvi, cello, flute & guitar.

The originators of this idea were Tigran and Vardan, who wanted to promote interest in Armenian traditional music and its legendary instrument - the duduk. They decided to do this by introducing it into "modernity", through new arrangements consisting of a dialogue between traditional and classical instruments.
This music tells and sings 'Armenia'

Stellar Performance
Tigran and Vardan not only promote Armenian traditional music they deliver a stellar performance with their instrumental arrangements.

Traditional Armenian instruments and melodies with a fresh twist that keeps me listening over and over. I love the addition of instruments and the modern adaptations. The CD covers a range of emotions and styles.

beautiful enchanting music
i can hear it over and over again... the sound is magical, it enwraps your soul and doesn't let enchanting...

There is not one track on this CD that is not perfect. Each song has its own special chracteristics. Everytime I listen to it I actually feel like I am in Armenia or even by Mount Ararat.......You should definately buy this CD. Whoever gets one should tell everyone about it and spread the word, because I definately have.

Listening to Arax: La Breise is like a breath of fresh air.
This is music that I can always come back to, no matter how often I have heard it before. Every track is exquisitely arranged, adding so many beautiful layers to the original music which is great to begin with. It always puts me in a good mood. I have already bought a couple extra ones for gifts. I love it!

One of my favorite instrumental albums. Great for any occasion.
