ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Forest Dawn is the first in a series of EPs that chronicle a day in the life of a forest, taking you from early dawn to the start of the afternoon. Each track an instrumental, the melodies are played using an Ebow on an electric guitar, producing a haunting but serene atmosphere that you can picture being sung by the forest in the early morning, if only trees had voices.

Arbor Musica and the Forest series is inspired by "Tree Music", a term of endearment for new age styled music enjoyed by Jason's father and step-father, Gary and Eugene. Many nights were enjoyed listening to "Tree Music" on a deck in their back yards, looking out and watching light reflecting onto the Cedar trees at the edge of the yard.
