I'm Here for You

by Aron Celnik

The Italians have a saying: "La bellezza di essere diciotto!" This translates into, “The beauty of being eighteen!” Well, maybe we are beautiful at 18, but I sure don’t remember being comfortable in my own skin when I was that age! “I’m Here For You” is a song I wrote for my oldest son (I have two) not long after he turned 18. Oh the things we know now that we didn’t know then! Anyway, we’ve all been there, and most of us knew better than our folks, of course, until we realized how little in fact we did know. But to live is to experience and hopefully to learn. Please join me in exploring the few important things we can do as parents: we can be there for our children when we are needed, and we can support and encourage them in their journey through life. An interesting note: my son plays the lead electric guitar on this song!

Album Notes
My music is meant to touch your soul and to excite your senses. I know that this is a difficult thing to accomplish, but it is my goal nonetheless. Nothing compares to the innate desire to express ourselves musically; whether it’s whistling or humming a tune, singing in the shower, playing an instrument, or just enjoying others play their music and sing their songs. Music has a profound affect on our mood, our behavior, and has the power to transcend cultural and ethnic differences.

My music has many influences; from classical to jazz, from folk music to pop and rock and roll. I'm a product of all the wonderful songwriters from years gone by, and I'm grateful for all their work. I'm also grateful to the wonderful producer/arranger/composer, Steve Bernstein, for helping to bring my work to life. Also, I must express my gratitude to my patient and sensitive engineers, Robert Irving and Tim Bryson, who helped to make me sound the best that I could possibly be.
