G
28 or 29 days
C
To write 14 or so songs
G
Some people might write them short
D D7
But you could write them long

I hope you will succeed
But if you don't do not fret
There is always next year
When you may do it yet

You could write about animals
Or you could write about vegetables
Some people may write about cannibals
Or you could write a parable

2.I’m Gonna Eat A lot of Real Bad Food I

E A D
I'm gonna eat alot of real bad food
G

Chorus:

If I get fat so what dude
It's my life I'll do what I want
So what if I get a big gut

5.Writer’s Block

Cflat B A G all on the low E string

I'm sitting here in my room trying to write a song
I can't think of anything and I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong
Writer's block got me and I feel so darn depressed
I want to eat alot of food and sit around and not get dressed
I want to sit around in sloppy clothes and just be a mess
I don't want to answer the phone or check my E-mail messages
I don't want to talk to anyone I don't care who it is
I feel like McJagger when he sings he wants to paint it black
Sometimes I want get on a bus and just never come back
Why do I feel like there something that I lack

Writer's block got me and I can't write what I want to say
I can't see the sunshine because everything’s so gray
I'm on a black and white TV show on a channel faraway
Seems I'm caught within a bubble and cannot get out
And it makes me want to scream because my inspiration wants to shout

Writer's block got me and I'm in an awful fix
Writer's block got me and I want to say nix nix
I want to eat alot of food and sit around and not get dressed
I want to sit around in sloppy clothes and just be a mess
I don't want to answer the phone or check my E-mail messages
I don't want to talk to anyone I don't care who it is
I feel like McJagger when he sings he wants to paint it black
Sometimes I want get on a bus and just never come back
Why do I feel like there something that I lack

Writer's block got me and I can't write what I want to say
I can't see the sunshine because everything’s so gray
I'm on a black and white TV show on a channel faraway
Seems I'm caught within a bubble and can’t get out
And it makes me want to scream because my inspiration wants to shout
I want to shout
I want to shout
I want to shout

8.Invisible Blues

The post office is still closed
And the restaurrants not open
You don't want to walk back home
But then waiting is certain

There's no one around
And you don't have a book
The boredom is growing
Like fishing with no bait on the hook

The seconds take hours
The minutes take years
You go from slightly impatient
To psycho frantic paranoid fear

Someones coming
They seem to be a friend
You think you'll say hi
You feel like you're alive again

They stand by you
And they don't say hi back
What did you do
What do you lack

Do you feel invisible, invisible, invisible
Do you have the invisible blues

Do you feel invisible, invisible, invisible
Do you wonder what did you do

Invisible, invisible, invisible,invisible, invisible, invisible,invisible

Another friend comes
But doesn't recognize you
Infact he is puzzled
And stares at you to

Then they start talking each other
But act like you're not there
The post office is still not open
Do you feel like your gonna rip your hair

Do you feel invisible invisible,invisible
Do you feel like you have the invissible blues

Do you feel invisible invisible,invisible
Do you wonder what did you do

Invisible,invisible,invisible,invisible,invisible,invisible,invisible,invisible, invisible

9. The Cooking Song

G slide B G slide B G slide B D
Not anyone can be a chef at a very fine restaurant

A slide C sharp A slide C sharp A slide C sharp D G
Yes it shouldn't be left to amateurs or will all get really ill

Customer:Waiter, Waiter what is this fly doing in my soup
Waiter: Okay I'm looking at your soup and looks like he is doing a dance

Now that your a baker there's a few things that you should know
Make sure your hands are clean and please use a clean bowl
Don't use too much yeast or too high will rise the dough
And please don't pick your buggers or to a different bakery will all have to go

Customer: Waiter, Waiter there's a fly, there’s a fly in my soup
Waiter: That's no fly that's my wife

Say if it makes you proud and glad to be the local cook
Make sure you use the right ingredient go strictly by the book
It's what the food taste like not just how it looks
And please don't charge to much or everyone will call you a crook

Customer: Waiter, Waiter there's a fly in my soup
Waiter:Okay that will be 5 cents more because then it's got protein

10.Gary

I don't know what you're doing now
I wonder and I think of how
We had a good time when you were here
We danced around and had a cheer

Friendships come and friendships go
Sometimes it's hard to really let go
You want to write and say hello
But where they are you don't always know

The food was good the music too
But all I think about is you
Our conversation and the jokes
And hanging out with your old folks

You were my friend, you were so true
So why did I let go of you
I never wrote, I never called
And now you're not around at all

So Gary if you hear this song
You see my lyrics and feelings strong
And have a minute or two to spare
Say hi to me if you still care

For old time sake let's have a hand shake
Let's sit and have a milkshake
And talk about the goodtimes and
What your doing now and the old friends

11.You’ve Got To Have Some Butter

The taste of butter
On your tongue
Is making you weak
Is making you numb

You smell the popcorn
At the movie theater
They charge $10 bucks
But to you that don't matter

You've tried margerine
I can't believe it's not butter and parkay
These other substitutes don't stand up
Yeah there not a better way

1,2,3,4
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got
To have
Some Butter

You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got
To have
Some Butter

Your girlfriend comes over
You're drawn to her
She looks pretty
But it's not just her sweater

She smells special
Is it her perfume
What is the aroma
That makes you so consumed

Did she wash her hair
Is it her nail polish
She says for lunch
She had a meat and potatoe double butter dish

You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got
To have
Some Butter

You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got to have some butter
You've got
To have
Some Butter

12. The Turtle Rabbit Dilemma

Are you a turtle ?
Or are you a rabbit ?

In life my turtle wants to keep going
But my rabbit wants to quit
Should I be persistent
Or should I rest a bit

Just one more hurled and
I ‘m almost over the fence
So I don’t have to worry
Yeah I can take a rest

But if I rest to long
And do not wake
I could burn the cake
And that would be a mistake

My turtle says finish the work before you rest
Has often been said
But my rabbit says if you work to hard without a brake
You might fall over dead

So are you a rabbit ?
Or are you a turtle ?

13. Coming To Your Town

Coming To Your Town
Coming to your Town
Coming to your town
Coming to your town

Coming to your town
Xylophone player who sings opera

Zebra that juggles knifes
Xavier the dancing swan,

Clowns that stand on their head
Ventriloquist who talks and drinks water

X ray Fish and lovely Mermaids
Pies with exotic flavors

Zeus the giant Cyclops
Xizang the Chinese rope walker

Coins of every nation and time
Viola playing monkey

Coming to your town
Coming to your town
Coming to your town
Coming to your town

Coming to your town
Laughing hyena Anteater

Zaftig the fattest lady
Catches the cannon ball flying man

X-acto knife raffle prize
Comes to one lucky winner of each show

Laughter is for sure
Zeke the comedian tells funny jokes

Checks or cash are good
X ray machines we will consider

Visa we will take if you have ID
But not if you don't have ID

Coming to your town
Coming to your town
Coming to your town
Coming to your town

14. Oh for One More Visit with My Aunts and Uncles on the Farm

Oh for one more visit with my aunts and uncles on the farm
I remember when I was little I'd chase those kittens around the barn
The homemade bread, punkin pie,or german chocolate cake
Or the way my Uncle Carl as a joke, would accuse you of stealing his finger when you gave his hand a shake
Are just a few of the prescious memories that gave those visits their charm
Oh for one more visit with my aunts and uncles on the farm
Kazoo~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kazoo~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Oh for one more visit with my aunts and uncles out in the country
I enjoyed the games, and jokes and those stories that were so funny
They encouraged me sometimes to do a little work
By putting a fifty cent piece under the dishes I was carrying and then they said that's yours
They made sure you didn't leave thirsty or ever go hungry
Oh for one more visit with my aunts and uncles out in the country
Kazoo~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kazoo~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The homemade bread, punkin pie,or german chocolate cake
Or the way my Uncle Carl would accuse you as a joke, for stealing his finger when you gave his hand a shake
Are just a few of the prescious memories that gave those visits their charm
Oh for one more visit with my aunts and uncles on the farm

If I knew then what I know now I would have filmed it all
Oh for one more visit with my aunts and uncles when life was a ball

15. Put Some Cheese On It

When I was just a little boy
My Mother said:"Put Some Cheese on it"
If Food didn't give me any joy
My Mother said:"Put Some Cheese on it”
When I was really annoyed
My Mother said:"Put Some Cheese on it”
Food didn't taste quite right
My Mother said:"Put Some Cheese on it”
It gave me delight
Put some cheese on it
I didn't want fight
So I told those guys:"Put some cheese on it"
There was someone with a knife
I used it to cut my cheese, yeah I put some cheese on it
I don't believe in war
I think government's should put some cheese on it
And instead of going over board
With all that extra spending, while don't they just put some cheese on it
It's my philosophy
Put some cheese on it
That's the key
Put some cheese on it
Salesman came to my house
I said:"Put some cheese on it"
And they came to get rid of the mouse
I said put some cheese on it
My painting look kind of ugly
So I put some cheese on it
My girlfriend wasn't talking
So I put some cheese on it
You wonder where this song is going
Put some cheese on it
You don't like my work
Put some cheese on it
Hey man just
just
While don't you just
Why don't you just come down
Make yourself a sandwich and put some cheese on it

16.The End is The Beginning

Did you ever think
The end was the beginning
Losing a friend means
Now you have more time(free time) so another friend you could be winning
Rain means
Flowers are going to bloom later
A diet means
Your gonna get healthier
And sweets when you do get to eat them
Will perhaps taste better
Because you don't eat them always now
When you do eat them the taste will more savor

Did you ever think that losing
Could be victory
You lost
But you made the other person happy
How do we know that dying
Isn't setting us free
I feel real wealth
Is when you can share your money
True freedom maybe
letting go of the burden of having everything
I mean I like rhyming
But it might be better sometimes not to

This song might be ending but now you can listen to some other person's song
