In 2011, A Simple Complex released Fill The Void - the first volume of the band's Left Behind series - to critical acclaim. It made the top 40 on eight charts at Amazon MP3, topping 2 of them. Its songs aired on 24 FM stations across the US. And that year, the band was nominated by the New England Music Awards committee (made up of Program Directors, DJs, Music Writers, etc) for Best NH Band.
Now in 2012, the band releases Volume 2 - Come Undone.
The first track "Letting Go" captures the power of a Shinedown ballad and the emotion of a classic Meat Loaf hit. Rock vocalist James Garrity joins ASC lead vocalist Jessica Scalese to create a modern power ballad that has been called "Fantastic" by Chris DeSimone (WFNQ FM).
"New Decree", the EP's second track, is the band's heaviest song yet - a thunderous track that fits right in on a mix with bands like Disturbed, Pantera, Mudvayne, et al.
The last track "Come & Go" brings back the band's signature sound. It's a heavy rock masterpiece that's getting airplay of up to 5 times every day on rock station WPNH FM!
In the last few years, the band has shared stages with national touring acts Korn, Shinedown, Candlebox, Puddle Of Mudd, Sevendust, 10 Years, Chevelle, Taproot and more. On the homefront in New England, the band is often seen playing with local heavyweights Prospect Hill, Craving Lucy, Gone For Days and others.
