Album Notes
Utilizing a wide variety of musical influences, A Thousand Times Goodnight found their own style that mixes elements of post-hardcore, melodic hardcore, and rock. Each of the five songs on the EP are filled with catchy riffs, memorable choruses, and hard-hitting breakdowns that are sure to stick with many fans of the genre. The EP opens up with the albums' heaviest and darkest sounding track, but then progresses into a more ambient and lighthearted feel while still retaining those heavy elements. However, probably the most striking elements of the EP are in the lyrics. ATTG spread their message of living a positive lifestyle in “Elephants” with lyrics that are meant to instill hope and urge listeners to better themselves. The final track of the EP sums up their message with the line, "Maybe someday, I'll be something better than the man I am today." "Elephants" is full of power and emotion in all of its aspects that will surely turn some heads and leave a lasting impact on listeners.
