Album Notes
Atlas is the electronic music project of Ben and John Kray. "R is for Rocket"'s theme is inspired by both the creation of the universe and by Ray Bradbury's science fiction short stories. Interestingly enough, songs "R is for Rocket I/II" and "The Green Morning" were composed (for fun) as background music for the same respective Bradbury short stories. "R is for Rocket" however, isn't background music. The album blends the atmospheric resonance of artists like M83, This Will Destroy You, and Boards of Canada to create epic soundscapes that often impregnate their listeners with feelings comparable to taking a speed of light ride. So if you're into M83, This Will Destroy You, science fiction, or music in general, then you might find Atlas's "R is for Rocket" album palatable.

Atlas: A Journey to Musical Euphoria
Possibly the best album to ever have graced my musically enhanced thyroid glands. The first song opens leaving you with nothing but an overactive metabolism, yearning for more. Thus the second song is also named the same title. Which makes it so much better. Me and my friends listen to this song all the time on our weekly car rides to the gay bar down at 1324 Coldbrook Ave. situation near lakewood high school. I suggest you all listen to this album if you wish to all become men. My spouse says the soundtrack to our marriage is She will be loved by Maroon 5, but now it is R for Rocket. Because I say so. I named each of my children after a song on the album and of course R for Rocket receives most of my love.
