ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Highly influenced by 50's Rockabilly, early 60's instrumental Surf, classic Country & Western, and all makes and models of Punk, The Atomic Men have forged a sound that could only be described as The Cramps getting in a bar room brawl with the Sex Pistols... All while Johnny Cash is blaring on the jukebox and the Creature From The Black Lagoon is serving up drinks. Their first (and only) full length studio album, Bomb Shelter Boogie, is a carnival haunted house ride through 50's B-movie imagery, tales of lost loves and restless rebellion.

Finally got IT.
After waiting patiently for 6 months I've finally got my copy. LOVE IT. It rocks with a slight touch of Dick Dale. Nick Carver's vocals have great range and reminds me a little bit of Chris Isaac with a touch of the Koffin Kats. Pick this one up and you won't be disapointed. out

This CD is a must have!
OK, so you need something new and exciting. Just punch Bombshelter Boogie into your player and get ready to rock! "She's Haunting Me" ,"Creature in the Nite", & "High and Dry" are hard driving, get up a rumble, give you a chill, stand up, and shout out loud masterpieces.
The slower tunes of "Running Scared" and "Howl at the Moon" really show the musical ability of this very tight band. It's hard to believe that all that music is coming out of a three piece band.
These guy's got it down to a science. Not that, every song sounds like the next one kinda CD. NO WAY! This CD should win a Grammy!
