ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
audiomachine is proud to announce the release of HELIOS. Celebrated audiomachine composer Paul Dinletir raises the bar yet again on this exceptionally cohesive 13 track effort showcasing his latest epic masterpieces for motion picture advertising.

A first for audiomachine, Dinletir traveled to London to record the massive 175 piece orchestra and choir at legendary Air Lyndhurst studios to come up with he calls "his musical statement." Dinletir adds, "Growing up listening to film scores, I dreamed of being able to do something on this scale. It was definitely a bucket list type of experience for me. I'm really excited for this music to get out there and to see how people interpret it and connect to it in their own way."

With tracks from HELIOS already showcased in high profile feature film trailers for LIFE OF PI and THE HOBBIT as well as the new video game campaign for ASSASSIN'S CREED III, Dinletir is optimistic he'll be recording future projects with the incredibly talented musicians in London.

audiomachine is a boutique, motion picture advertising music production house, specializing in original music and sound design for theatrical trailers, television spots and video game advertising campaigns. A portion of proceeds from each sale of HELIOS, as well as their previous releases CHRONICLES and EPICA, will be donated directly to benefit the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra, an organization that helps enrich the lives of students through the power of music.

Sirens of Hyperion Track - Opinions
This track started out right away with an orchestral intro and instantly reminded me of Final Fantasy and other similar video games. It had a very epic feel to it and I could see this being a track in a video game or a movie calling for a track with a bit of an intense feel to it. As a purely orchestral track it met one's expectations of full ensemble. The deep percussion throught the track and the vocalizations worked very well with the rest of the orchestration. Although I got this particular track for free at the time, I would recommend a listen to their entire album assuming the atmosphere of the entire album kept in line with this track.

Another great album!
This follow-up album, after Epica, has a lot of great orchestra and choir tracks including Sirens of Hyperion, featured in the main trailer of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
