Album Notes
"Theyarehere” was inspired by the American 1951 sci-fi movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still" and was composed by Luiz Esteves, who played the electric guitars, bass, keyboards and programmed the drums. Aum Soham made the vocal parts on the track adding guttural tones, modified pitches and other processed effects. Blues, rock guitars and weird vocal sounds were mixed here to create a tense sci-fi environment, a deep and uncomfortable thriller, where we almost can hear the main character of the film, the alien Klaatu saying his famous phrase: “...but if you threaten to extend your violence, this Earth of yours will be reduced to a burned-out cinder”. But don’t panic, this is not the end of the world; this is just a piece of music.
