ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Where No Mind Has Gone Before.....

I came up with the idea of the name 'Vortexans' because I wanted something that sounded both New Age and Country at the same time. My name 'Aunt Julie' is also easier to remember than my last name 'Helseth' which is unusual and hard to pronounce for some people.

I consider myself an American Folk Artist. I play the music of the People. Most of my songs are about the adventures of everyday living. I want to take people places where no mind has gone before.
