ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
“Aury Moore comes from Rock and Roll Royalty” says Julie Mains of KKNW and lead vocalist of The Juliette’s. It is true that Aury has a family history of highly respected musicians including her sister Pamela Moore of Queensryche fame, her cousin Terri Nunn, lead singer of the band Berlin, and cousin Gregory Calvin Stone seen in many Broadway performances. Growing up with these influences and having music as a staple of her daily life has helped mold her into the talent she is today. She has a passion for Jazz and Gospel and these genres have helped her develop her bluesy-rock stylizations. “Aury has energy and honesty in her performance not seen in a female entertainer since the passing of Janis Joplin,” Says Alan White, (Yes, John Lennon drummer) “By far, my favorite female vocalist I have worked with.”

Aury has had the honor of sharing the stage with many well known musicians including: Alan White (Yes and John Lennon) Roger Fisher (Heart) Steve Fossen (Heart) Cris Slade (AC/DC) Jamie Moses (Brian May Band) Spike Edney (Queen and Brian May Band) Jeff Scott Soto (Journey) Ian Crawford (The Cab and Panic! at the Disco) Steve Lukather (Toto) Lynn Sorenson (Paul Rogers, Bad Company, and Spike and the Impalers) Jeff Kathan (Bad Company and Spike and the Impalers) Pamela Moore (Queensryche) Michael Wilton (Queensryche) Spencer Davis (The Spencer Davis Group) Don Wilson (The Ventures) Goldy McJohn (Steppenwolf) Mike Stone (Queensryche) and Michael Shrieve (Santana) to name a few.

Aury has worked with top notch award winning producers, such as the late great Tom Pfaeffle, and Timothy Eaton, and has been called on to do session work for these producers and others recording vocals for Alan White, Jimmy Van Zant, LJ Porter, Roger Fisher, Pamela Moore, Tyrone Vaughn, Bob Rivers and many more. Her voice can also be heard on many jingles and commercial voice over’s. Her debut CD, Just a Taste, has been sold all over the world and has current airplay on both radio and internet stations. There have been many articles written about Aury as well. Most recently she has been covered in , International Model and Musician Search and the Northwest’s Karaoke and Live Entertainment guide.
The AMB (Aury Moore Band) recently were funded by a campaign they ran on Kickstarter. Thanks to the fans who generously showed support and made pledges, the band was able to finish their new CD "Here I Am" with Grammy nominated producer, Stevie Adamek. Aury was a featured artist for Roger Fisher’s 60th Birthday Bash and was the first band to sell out Seattle's Hard Rock Café. Aury is also thrilled to have been discovered by Grammy Award winning artist Alison Moyet. Alison has asked Aury to record one of her original songs called “This House”. “I think Alison will be happy with our interpretation of her beautiful song” says Aury. “I am still humbled by her request.”
