ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The "textures canadiana" CD is a collection of songs that reflect wide influences in the tradition of great singer songwriters. The songs are varied in style and tempos and feature instruments to attract the ear. The musicality is exceptionally strong with session players including: Phil Robertson on drums (Idle Eyes/ Burton Cummings), Norm Fisher on bass (Bryan Adams), Andreas Schuld on guitar (Long John Baldry, et al), Robbie Steininger (dobro), Mike Sanyshyn (fiddle), Tom Carter (keys), and others. The "textures" of sound on this CD reflect the musical experiences of James Avery from across the country.
