ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Avi Paul Weinstein (b. 1982) is an American musician, designer and artist. He comes from Western Massachusetts and did stuff at the Massachusetts College of Art. His first album Here Come the Clones includes a mixture of broken sounding sounds and the sounds of fixing those broken sounding sounds. His second release Stumbler takes a more sample-based approach, incorporating breakbeats and 60’s psychedelia. The result is a lush soundscape of twangy guitars, poisoned strings and sporadic beats.

He is currently working on an as of yet untitled third album to be released sometime in late 2009.

Maureen

a great album with great songs
I heard this album for this first time a month ago and it was just what I was craving to listen to. It was really exciting and rocking. The songs are really great. I really enjoyed "Egg Machine", "Mr. Wind and the Skylights" and the title track "Here Come the Clones". I recommend this album to anyone who is looking for great instrumental indie songs that rock hard and have catchy melodies.

The combination of many atypical melodies will grow on you and before you know you cannot stop listening to them.
