ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Backporch Brass is a young band from Long Beach California. This group is a mix of dixieland, New Orleans funk, and second line music. The group is lead by sousaphonist Mike King, who inspires both the band and audience into party atmosphere. during the recording of "Daytime" album every band member was under the age of thirty , with most floating around twenty two years old. while in the recording studio , the group did not cut, change, or alter the music in any fixing manner. So what you hear is what you get. This music was created with the arranging help of Tom Kubis. Thank you and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
