Album Notes
A lot has happened since the early days when 5 guys from Barcelona began to stand out from the rest of bands in their homeland by winning each contest they entered (Imaginarock, Emergenza, Cuenca Live, etc…) with their hard rock seasoned with sing-along pop melodies. Over 100 live shows –some of them opening for bands like Lordi, Twisted Sister or Nashville Pussy– and an indie release CD which got incredible press from all over the world , made them ready for a big challenge – to record 11 potential hit songs with top Spanish producer Gonzalo Parreño. The outcome couldn’t be better. The songwriting in this CD is outstanding (small surprise when their chief composer, singer Marc Vanway won his first songwriting contest at age 11). Songs like “My Way”, “Don’t tell me”, “Forever” or the Aerosmith-flavored ballad “Dead Letters” are the sort of sticky hits most bands would kill for on their CDs. Their infectious rock is likely to appeal to every radio listener, from teens to adults. Rock sound, pop melodies and a punk attitude, all turn them into an easy hit target.
