ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Baker London is a rock and roll group that was was started in late 2005 by Sean Fitzpatrick and Trevor Grimm in Chicago, IL. The duo grew to include multi-instrumentalist Johnny Becker in early 2006 when the three members recorded their debut album 'Baker London and The Fuumes'. Later that year after recording 'The Guava Men,' a short country album, they went on their first tour in the winter of '06/'07 where Matty Harris joined the band. The band played several mini tours with These Little Nothings in that spring when Trevor took a hiatus from the band and the group relocated to Minneapolis, MN. The summer of that year yielded the "bake your lemons" summer tour with The P. Lacquers. Baker London is now a four piece that includes the three members plus new drummer, Max Barcelow. Trevor rejoined the band for two shows at the end of the tour but passed away in september 2007. Baker London has two new studio albums out 'Margeaux' and 'Jukebox Hello' the latter of which was recorded by producer Andy Thompson. Baker London is now based out of Olympia, WA with members currently residing in California and Colorado. Irish Viking

repeat all
When I first got this album I played it on repeat for over a week straight. Rock country alternative garage folk fusion. Ranging from a melodic seedy despair (Rusty Needles) to sweet hopefulness (Dolly Parton), I can listen to this CD in any mood and still love it. Four Cities is by far my favorite, partly because the melody is so catchy I can put in my own lyrics when I sing it in the shower.
Love love LOVE this CD!!
