Album Notes
Musa Kuyateh (Bala Ranks) was born in Basse Manneh Kunda in the Upper River Region of The Gambia, West Africa in 1980. Currently living in Kanifing, he has been recording & performing Afro Manding and Reggae music for a few years now. His most outstanding achievement to date is coming out 2nd in the Gamcel Chartbuster, a National TV talent competition in The Gambia.

This album has been released in The Gambia as cd only in 2011 and now being released digitally worldwide.

His music has been Inspired by his musical parents, Gambia's King of Kora Jaliba Kuyateh, Alpha Blondy, Salifu Keita, Lucky Dube (RIP), Bob Marley to name a few.

To know the extent of Bala Rank's creativity, you'll need to listen to the full album and be your own judge and hopefully you won't be disappointed.
