Bankrupt Records is an independent rap group created in 2005 by James G and consists of DUO (brothers James G and JG) and hype-man Big C. The music is a mixture of the groups New York, California, and Georgia roots combined with catchy hooks and creative metaphors. Bankrupt Records - Amnesia
1. Amnesia - This beat took me a few listens for it too grow on me. Yet I do have to admit, that the beat really fits the track. J.G. and James G. set the tempo and mood for this cd with this track. If you ever smoked, drank and bumped so much music you have no idea what's going on? Then you will relate with this track.

2. You Know What They Here For - This beat is more up tempo compaired to the lead off track. Definatly diggin how it switches up during the hook. Definatly makes ya wanna get moving with this one. Bankrupt Crew is in full force telling you their mission and letting you know What They Here Fo.

3. Up and Down - I absolutely LOVE this beat. Any time I can hear snippits from fav cartoons from back in the day makes me giddy like a lil kid at christmas. 5 points to anyone that can peg the cartoon. This track is in the top ten of all time favs from the Bankrupt crew. Good track aboot all the Trips and UPs and Downs from a good buzz and emotion. Wanna get High, High as I feel about YOU.

4. Space Shit - Very up tempo beat that I am digging. The quality of the beats get better with each and every track and release. Space Shit, nah, this is the high one gets for achieving ones goals and also the good high from the ole smoke.

5. What You Smoke ft Lil Wyte - This is a beat you would expect to hear on any Lil Wyte cd and it fits both Lil Wyte and the Bankrupt Boys. This still my fav colabo that Bankrupt Records has done. If I remember right, Lil Wyte placed this track on a cd he released with nothing but his favorite colabos. If you ask me they sound damn good together on the same track and I would love to hear them do another track. As the song title says, What You Smoke? Purp and Blue Cheese by far is my fav strains to smoke.

6. Round The Way - I really enjoy this beat. Has a nice tempo to it. Really enjoy fast tempo tracks, specially from Bankrupt, they do fast tempo tracks right. This really makes you wanna get up and start moving. Wheres your homies at or drug dealer or that special stash of plants? Round the Way, that's right, keep the hustle on and get going Round the Way.

7. Mind Keeps Racing - Track starts out with a dark vibe too it, then the beat kicks in. Gritty and with some flair. Really enjoy and relate with this track. Some times no matter how much I smoke, My Mind Keeps Racing. No matter how good the green is, just dont help. So days like that, I find my music and just kick back and try to let things settle down. And lets not forget more green.

8. Light Up (Big C and James G) - Nice smooth mellow beat to go with a nice smooth and mellow track. Big C shows off his silky smooth voice and singing with the hook. James G adds his flair to this track and makes it by far one of my fav tracks by Big C. Definatly worth adding this track to ya main play list, that's for sure.

9. To The Dome - Even with a good powerful beat like this track has. It had to grow on me. Wasnt a track I wanted to really bump at first. But it really grew on me. J.G.'s verse really puts a stamp on this track with what it is about. If you've never smoked before this track. Get ready to take notes on some of the best strains you will find.

10. Piff and Krypto - Another track with a good mellow laid back vibe to it. Definatly a beat and track that you can just kick back and blaze too and get the good vibes and feeling. This track is all about getting fucked up by that good ole Green and just chill. 11. Cant Get Enough - This is by far my all time favorite track from Bankrupt Records. I love the fact that they sampled a cut from Black Eyed Peas. Fergies voice hitting the hook really pushes this track over the edge. James G and J.G. really drive home the point. Once you start achieving ones goals and recognized for your accomplishments, You Just Cant Get Enough. You just wanna keep pushing forward to bigger and greater things. Bump this track and you will see the meaning of this track and you will be along with us all, Addicted.

This happens to be one of my favorite releases from Bankrupt Records. Now dont get me wrong, I have been promoting and pushing Bankrupt Records since before their release of "Underground Mythology". With each cd I have found tracks I have enjoyed and others I have skipped over. As with their previous two major releases, "Night Vision" and "Double Vision" you can see growth and major steps of improvement and how much more comfortable they are in the booth dropping their verses. Big C shows his smooth rapping and singing skills. Which by the way I am still waiting for a major release from him. If you have never bumped anything from Bankrupt Records, this is the cd you will want to check out. Not only is this cd a Banger but it's a FREE banger. How can you pass free music when you feel you're ripping off the artist and feel this cd should be paid for?

Score - 9

Bankrupt Records has kicked down doors and shown they are a force to be delt with. With their major release of "Double Vision" being so successful and their fanbase so loyal and dedicated. The Bankrupt Boys released a major banger for FREE. They never had to do this but with great appreciation for for their fans they gave back. But for the ones that feel they was ripping off the artist for downloading such great music. The guys from Bankrupt Records pressed up a limited amount of cd's for purchase. And to no suprise by me, they sold out in a hurry. Still getting good hits and downloads a just under a year, shows how big of a hit this cd is and how the Bankrupt Records fan base keeps growing. Do NOT pass up this release and down load it today and search for the other releases from these guys because they're gonna blow up and you're gonna want to say, "Hey, I knew these cats before they got famous and you know what, they're still same cool dudes now as they was then."

Very inventive lyrics and beats. Couldnt ask for much more
