A set of cool, improvisation oriented guitar solos by modern troubadour Barry Wedgle and duets by the same with bassist Shigeo Sugiyama. The set includes the title track, "Virgo" by Wayne Shorter and goes through a variety of feels, including the flamenco styled "Pieces of a Dream," to end with Ornette Coleman's "Lonely Woman." This recording has been extremely popular among audiophiles due to the reality of Barry's guitar in combination with the guts and fullness of Shigeo's bass. Recorded at the Harmony Hall in Matsumoto, Japan.
