Bazz Norton's 30 year career has seen him entertain in piano bars all over the world, including 7 years on the Scandinavian piano bar circuit, playing rock and roll, followed by 6 years in the famous Savoy American Bar, playing a more sedate jazz standard repertoire. With a repertoire of over 2500 songs makes him one of the most versatile entertainers on the piano bar scene. Most recently Bazz has exported 'The Piano Group' concept across the 'pond' to Florida USA where 'PIANO HOLLYWOOD' also holds Sunday Jazz Nights.
Gary Williams' drumming technique stems from his experience playing with an eclectic mix of jazz, reggae and rock bands. His style is unusually musical, keeping an ear equally on the bass player and the melody. After his very first time playing with the trio at Piano Kensington, he has now become the regular drummer on Jazz Nights.
Sandy Burnett is best known for his classical music and as a presenter for BBC Radio 3. He has also been musical director at the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theatre. His jazz credits include tours with Bucky Pizzarelli, Salena Jones and Lillian Boutte.
Moya Ruskin began her career as a session singer while still at school. She went on to combine her love of music and theatre, appearing in a variety of musicals from 'The Mikando' to 'A Little Shop Of Horrors'. Moyas West End theatre credits include the hugely popular, award winning show 'Buddy'. Her Television work has included appearances in 'Hercule Poirot's Casebook' and the award winning 'Prime Suspect'. Moya has always enjoyed performing in a variety of styles and has worked extensively in the music industry, providing vocals for other artists, including Michael Bolton and the French rock legend Johnny Halliday. Moya loved the experience of 'running away to sea' when she and Bazz first joined Silversea Cruses in 2001.
Paul French in the 1980's formed the band 'Voyager' which was very successful with hits in Oz, Japan and South Africa, he now plays regularly at Piano Kensington, but only when his arm doesn't hurt.
Jack Shouten began playing guitar ten years ago, influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughn and Noel Gallagher he has since dedicated his time completly to music. Jack plays in several bands and is a regular guest at Piano Kensington. When not playing jazz he devotes his time to 'AnExitStratergy' - an electronic / rock band based in Guildford, Surrey whose second single, 'Time and Vice Versa' was released in October 2012.
