ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Marcescant," recorded partly in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Auckland, New Zealand, finds BB adding new sonic textures to his sound, bringing electric guitar, drum machines and light percussion to many of the same themes as the previous album, while touching on new ones like resurrection and the hope that comes from acceptance of the inevitable "unknown."
Written during a turbulent period that culminated in a move to New Zealand, the songs on the album chart an “epic, somber... chronicle of abduction, death, and a crumbling domestic life.”
