ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Sleeping in the shade of old pines in North America, native legends have always been a timeless source of inspiration for poems about simplicity, wisdom and spirituality. Curious of reading those yet unknown texts and unbelievable stories, singer/songwriter David Lavergne ended up being that human tunnel in which those moralities could actually be transformed into music, songs and so far, a first album called Good Morning, Motherland. With seven passionate dreamers standing behind the cello, the accordeon, the piano, guitars, the mandolin, the upright bass and percussions, Bears Of Legend is now known for delivering an original, sensitive and intimate experience through live shows and for being very connected with each others not only on stage but in their day to day lives. Expect the bears to intrigue you along a 16 pieces long Good Morning, Motherland., recorded by drummer Francis Perron, on which creative recording methods have been used from song to song. From recording live around the fire on Cantilena Star to playing trash cans and metal shovels on In The Streets, this album hides tons of listening surprises and inner discoveries.
