Album Notes
"Dance Girl Dance" was inspired by the incredible true story of a friend during the artist's military enlistment. She uploaded a clip of herself dancing to R&B music wearing club-style clothing. The dance moves were rather exotic in nature and she became famous on the base, especially with the local contractors who would ask her to do the dance at every opportunity. One day a retired military member was browsing the internet and came across the video. Unfortunately she had tagged the video with the fact she was in the military and exactly where she was stationed. That retired member felt it was inappropriate behavior and complained to the chain-of-command. After reviewing the video, the command decided the video was not in bad taste, but asked her to take it down anyway. It wasn't such a bad thing that she took it down, since she was being harassed by everyone asking her to "dance girl, dance!"
