Best Yet
This album is definitely Ben Cosgrove’s best album yet. The atmospheres that his pieces create are totally enveloping, and each song is stunning in its emotional power. From the unrelenting grief of “I Am Walking Inland” to the wistful nostalgia of “North Central,” Ben’s music shows not only his amazing talent for blending countless instruments into a perfect, unified sound but also his astonishing ear for unforgettable and haunting melodies. I recommend this wholeheartedly for everyone who appreciates the power of instrumental music.

Truly an astonishing feat.
The textures and subtleties of this album are extraordinary; Ben manages to convey in each song, with the lightest of touches and the most delicate variations in tone and melody, the overwhelming but ineffable emotions that different places evoke in us. If you have ever looked out over a cityscape, stood by yourself in a lonely field, or contemplated a busy road in the middle of nowhere, not knowing how to descibe what these sights made you feel, this album will explain it to you. Ben has all the answers about how music, emotion, and atmosphere are woven into in our sense of place.

So Cool
I’ve been listening to this album non-stop since I bought it. Every song is incredible. I love that he uses wine-glasses as one of his instruments - is there anything this guy can’t do?? Every choice he makes about what instruments to use or how to change the melody and rhythm is always the right choice. He should write music for movies - his songs would make any movie incredible!!
