ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Benedict Gibbon is a songwriter, musician and producer born in Orsett, Essex and based in the East End of London.

His musical output is hugely eclectic, ranging from straight up indie rock to folk, jazz, funk and alternative pop. A multi-instrumentalist as well as a singer and producer, Gibbon arranges, performs, records and mixes the majority of his work himself, but has also collaborated with a wide range of young emerging artists including Singer/Songwriter Holly Turton, MC Paul Stanley aka "Wanabe" and Chart Producer Kassa Alexander, known for his work with Angel, Pixie Lott and other highly successful artists.

He describes his lyricism as "Slighty edgy I guess. I mean, I hesitate to use that term but what I mean is that there's some serious topics in there, as well as some more lighthearted stuff, like Good Time Girl, but even that's got kind of a darker underside [...] I guess the underlying theme is just my musings on life and the things I notice around me, like any writer really."
