ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Simply put, nobody sounds like Ben Hanna. Armed with a unique voice and strange approach, Ben writes about contemporary "Post Suburban" life as told by a 20 something "saved by the bell" dropout. He writes "my dad's been smoking crack since my mom passed away/ I listened to my headphones the entire funeral wake/ I still call my grandmother every holiday/ I never made it home since graduation day" ( from "I'll Be Home For Xmas featured on WWALW... ) His lyrics draw you in and surprise you, shedding light on what is hidden in plain sight. Oftentimes you might just laugh to keep from crying. There's a lot of talent out there, but nobody sounds like Ben Hanna.
