ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Welcome To A New Series: World's Greatest Pieces Played on the World's Greatest Pianos

Up close and personal, that was my goal. I wanted you to experience the piece as if you're sitting in the most acoustically perfect room, next to the piano itself. I've picked the worlds greatest pianos, along with the greatest piano pieces of all time, and you gain further benefit from the perfect digital recordings we made. This is a truly personal and intimate experience. Here you will be able to hear the subtleties of each instrument, and the complex overtones that each instrument creates. Over time, with all four recordings, you will be able to discern the sound of the different pianos. Although each piano is unique, there are signature sounds from each. So sit back, relax and enjoy the wonderful richness and majesty of the piano, in a uniquely perfect environment, without crowds, uncomfortable seats, coughing or other extraneous noises that takes away from the music. Here is my version of perfection. ~ Bernard Andrew
