Album Notes
"Songs for the Searching" is Beth’s first solo album and embodies twenty years of authentically embracing life’s adventures. While many lyrics are autobiographical in nature, her words invite all listeners to accompany her on the faithful quest toward identity, purpose, redemption, and hope.

Beth holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Furman University and a Master of Choral Conducting from University of Kentucky. She has a passion for integrating music into every aspect of education, especially in her work with young people. She believes in the power of music to transcend divisiveness and greatly enrich experiences of creating and building communities. She has shared her gifts of music through various avenues including teaching and conducting in high school and church settings. Her contagious love of music and young people has given her the opportunity to lead music at various youth and young adult events including Montreat Youth and College Conferences.

Goodlet is and incredibly talented artist and writes from her shirt sleeve. These songs bring me comfort and hope and prove there is a light at the end of the struggle. An excellent... and overdue.. first CD.
