Jassical Gem
In this album, Time And Again, Bill certainly makes no excuse for his love of classical and jazz standards. He pays homage to both with an inspired set of original compositions; grounded in familiarity, but never lacking in originality.

I was taken by surprise with the impeccable phrasing throughout, clearly outlining each note, even in faster arpeggios and runs. I also quite enjoyed the exotic rhythms & grooves cleverly underlined in some of the tracks.

It took me a few listen to really pinpoint this out, but the omnipresent melancholy is a real throwback to some of the early jazz greats.

A real gem for anyone who enjoys both classical and jazz music.
